Here Comes The Backlash

Salons and spas are supposed to be a relaxing place to visit.  Well, you know about the duck that looks like he is calm on the surface but paddling like a son of a gun where the eyes can't see.  Well that's us, that's what it feels like behind the scenes at one of the best day spas in Oregon.  Do I dare unravel the truth....it is oh, so risky. How will you be able to unwind at the "The Grand"  if you know what it takes to keep the atmosphere.... oh, so pleasant?
 Can we start with tattoos? Yes, we can. Keep'em covered, was the policy in the employee handbook of 2007.  The hand book of 2010 states keep'em small.  Times have changed and the battles I fought before are not worth the fight when you find great employees with great attitudes.  How did I, the Spa Diva come to terms with her own pet peeve (employees with tattoos)?   Well, now our salon spa offers Tattoo Removal.  I'm finding that many are wanting their tatts removed and I get great pleasure in accommodating their wishes.
